Athren prepares each customs case from the shipment email, for customs brokers in Germany and the Netherlands.

Athren prepares customs declarations for customs brokers in Germany and the Netherlands. It reads the shipment email and its attachments, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading, fills in the declaration from those documents and proposes a commodity code where the invoice is clear. Where it is not, it writes down the question for the supplier. The broker's declarant checks what is still open and files the declaration in the customs system they already use; Athren files nothing. Athren was founded by Lucas Duys and Timothy Thomas and is based in Amsterdam and Berlin.

Using the logo

• Use the file made for your background, cream or brown. The monochrome files are for one-colour use.
• Keep the full logo at least 140 px wide. For anything smaller or square, use the symbol on its own.
• Leave clear space around the logo of at least half the symbol's width.
• Don't stretch, rotate, recolour or rearrange it, and don't add effects.
• In running text, write Athren as a normal word.
• Don't use the logo in a way that suggests Athren endorses or partners with you.
